Light Housekeeping Chores

Cleaning services play a valuable role in keeping seniors at home for as long as possible. It allows seniors to continue to live independently while receiving much needed help with their housekeeping chores.

We are not a full housekeeping service, but we can help with simple housekeeping tasks such as:

• Wiping down counters

• Doing dishes

• Cleaning the bathroom

• Vacuuming

• Mopping

• Laundry

• Ironing

• Dusting

• Preparing meals

• Re-organizing the fridge

• Changing linens

• Re-organizing closets

It’s often difficult to keep up with chores like dusting, vacuuming and washing floors. These chores may be physically challenging and could cause an injury. There is the risk that they could slip and fall or over exert themselves to the point of exhaustion.

Services are personally customized to meet the individual needs of each client. Our friendly cleaners can help with spring cleaning, organizing, weekly or monthly cleaning services. Other activities performed during this visit include checking the fridge to make sure they have enough food, checking for expired food and making sure there are no safety hazards in the home. 

​

Having someone come to clean a senior’s home provides an extra set of eyes to make sure everything is alright. It also provides companionship giving the senior someone to talk to and interact with.

*The minimum time for this service is 3 hours.

*Does not include cleaning windows.
